Priest: You are the God of a thousand faces, and yet nothing can reveal you completely except the face of the child of Bethlehem. We pray that we may manifest the Christmas mystery of revealing your incarnate love to the world. Our response will be:

all those who give you face, especially Pope Francis and our bishop/Archbishop --------, by spreading your love in the world, we pray

all those who give you, hands, by doing their best for their sisters and
brothers, we pray

all those who give you, a mouth, by defending the weak and the oppressed, we
pray

all those who give you, eyes, by admiring every bit of love in the heart of
humanity, we pray

all those who give you, a heart, by preferring the poor to the rich, the weak
to the strong, we pray

For
all those who reveal you simply by what they are, by reflecting your beauty in
their eyes, we pray
Priest: God of speech, from the beginning of time you spoke words of earth, sea, sky, sun, moon, trees, fish, cattle, man and woman. Your words had life and created reality. Throughout time, you have continued to speak to the work of your hands. Jesus, your son, became your incarnate word. He revealed the limitlessness of your words of life. Give us your life of joy and peace this Christmas again through
