Mothers’
Day Prayers
1) Every
Mother's Prayer
I pray you'll be my
eyes
And watch her where she goes
And help her to be wise
Help me to let go
Every mother's prayer
Every child knows
Lead her to a place
Guide her with your grace
To a place where she'll be safe
I pray she finds your light
And holds it in her heart
As darkness falls each night
Remind her where you are
Every mother's prayer
Every child knows
Need to find a place
Guide her with your grace
Give her faith so she'll be safe
Lead her to a place
Guide her with your grace
To a place where she'll be safe

Daniel's Prayer - A Style to Imitate
Daniel’s Repentant Heart !!!
Daniel, a righteous man, had such devotion that you would not expect to find him repenting.
Daniel’s heart, however, was sensitive to sin and also he identified with the people’s sins.
“O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. . . . We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled. . . . Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land” (Daniel 9:8, 5-6).

Things to Ponder
Things to ponder
Me (in a tizzy): God, can I ask you something?
GOD: Sure.
Me: Promise you won’t get mad?
GOD: I promise.
Me (frustrated): Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?
GOD: What do you mean?
Me: Well I woke up late,
GOD: Yes
After Judasses Have betrayed you ....
After Judases have betrayed you what do
you do?
In life you learn the subtle difference between holding
a hand and chaining a soul, and you can learn that love doesn’t mean leaning and
company doesn’t mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts and
presents aren’t promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up
and your eyes open, with the grace of an adult not the grief of a
child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today because
tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans.
After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you
get too much.
So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure…… that you
really are strong
And you really do have worth!
And so you tell the Judases, You come
and go, I remain!
In faith and in perseverance and in
hope!
Have a blessed
Triduum!
Our Thanksgiving
With Gratitude in Our Hearts
Text: I Thessalonians 5:12-24
Suggested song: Count Your Blessings
I envied her, she seemed so gay; I wished I were as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg, and wore a crutch,
And as she passed – a smile.
O God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs, the world is mine!

I. The Ten Lepers - Luke 17:11-19
A. I’m sure all ten were happy to have been healed.
B. Perhaps in their joy nine rushed off to tell their loved ones, but only one returned to say “thank you.”
C. We get so caught up in our personal miseries that when they are suddenly gone, we forget to simply say “thank you.”
II. God wants our appreciation
A. Continually offer a sacrifice of praise - Hebrews 13:15
B. Psalm 50:14 - Offer God thanksgiving
C. Come to Him with thanksgiving - Psalm 95:2; 100:4
D. “The World is Mine!” - Dot Aaron
Today, upon a bus, I saw a lovely girl with golden hair.I envied her, she seemed so gay; I wished I were as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg, and wore a crutch,
And as she passed – a smile.
O God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs, the world is mine!

Canaanite Woman and the Silence Of God
Sent by Gordon:
Silence Of God
God will come at an unexpected moment. He may not come as we
expect. But, certainly He will come. He will hear our prayer one
day. One day I was meditating on the conversation that took place between Jesus
and the Canaanite woman narrated in the Scripture (Mt15:21-28, Mk7:24-30). I was
a bit disturbed at the way Jesus humiliated that poor Canaanite woman.
She had a lot of expectations from Jesus. She was sure that her daughter
would be healed by the mighty power of Jesus. With this hope, she
came to Jesus. But, unfortunately, “He did not answer her at all”
(Mt.15:23). He was silent in front of her. All her expectations
were been shattered. Even the disciples came to her aid. But Jesus said, “I was
sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Mt15:24).
But, she was persistent and did not leave him. She pleaded
with him again, “Lord help me”. He answered, “It is not fair to
take the children's food and throw it to dogs”. Though she was disappointed
again, she said, “Yes Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from
their master's table”. At last, this time, Jesus heard her prayer. He healed her
daughter.

What if..? Meditation
What If
We are giving below a set of questions on which we request you to think over (original author unknown).
What if, GOD couldn’t take the time to bless us today because we couldn’t take the time to thank Him yesterday?
What if, GOD decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we didn’t follow Him today?
What if, we never saw another flower bloom because we grumbled when GOD sent the rain?
What if, GOD didn’t walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as His day?
What if, GOD took away the Bible tomorrow because we would not read it today?
What if, GOD took away His message because we failed to listen to the messenger?
What if, GOD didn’t send His only begotten Son because He wanted us to be prepared to pay the price for sin?
What if, the door of the church was closed because we did not open the door of our heart?
What if, GOD stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for others?
What if, GOD would not hear us today because we would not listen to Him yesterday?
What if, GOD answered our prayers the way we answer His call to service?
What if, GOD met our needs the way we give Him our lives???
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
