Good Fish Sold Here

Jack decided to open a new shop for selling fish. And he had a nice sign put up outside his shop which read, "Good Fish Sold Here".

A man walking by noticed the sign and suggested to him: "Obviously, you're selling fish here and not in Timbuktu. Why would you need to write "Here"? So Jack painted off "Here".

One night, in Central Africa, I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all that we could do, she died leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying, two-year-old daughter.

God doesn't Change

God is God:
🏽He doesnt care about *age*, no wonder he blessed Abraham.
🏽He doesnt care about *experience*, no wonder he chose David.
🏽He doesnt care about *gender,* no wonder he lifted Esther.
🏽He doesnt care about *your past*, no wonder he called Paul.
🏽He doesnt care about *your physical appearance*, no wonder he chose Zacchaeus
(the shortest one).

Greetings

Those are sons and daughters of God
who are led by the Spirit of God.
We have received a Spirit
who makes us God's children
and who make us cry out: Father!
May this Spirit be always with you.
R/ And also with you.

A. Speaking To Our FatherThe first lengthy prayer we learned as children, and the prayer we still pray most often, is probably the "Our Father." Is it more than a formula to us? Is it to us, as it was for Jesus, a word of warmth and tenderness, and a cry of trust and close relationship? With Jesus we stand here before our Father and with the Spirit in our hearts we call out: "Father, our Father!"

Trees in Seasons: Seasons of Life

👴​ There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly.

🗺 So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

❄ The first son went in the winter
🌿 the second in the spring
☀ the third in summer
and
🍂 the youngest son in the fall.

🗃 When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

👉​ The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

👉​ The second son said, "no it was covered with green buds and full of promise".

👉​ The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

👉​ The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

Flying Kites and Life without strings

Mother  is  flying  a  kite.
